Lucky crates: spawn, place, open, collect

Spawn a lucky crate, buy it, place it, open it, and collect the car. The October 10 description also says crates grow while you are offline.

Every documented car comes from a lucky crate. The developer has not published odds, pity, or a price table. The October 10, 2026 description adds one new line: crates grow while you are offline, as well as cars earning.

The loop in order

  1. Spawn. A crate offer appears on your lot. Auto Spawn can buy one for you. See stations.
  2. Buy. The price is cash from collection income. Read the live price. Do not copy a price from another server's screenshot.
  3. Place. Put the crate on the pad.
  4. Open. The reveal picks a car from the 50+ roster. Quick Open can hatch it when the timer ends. A September 25 tutorial also talks about Legendary crates and Diamond-tier cars. Those names are from that video, not a full ladder.
  5. Collect. Add the car to the collection or display wall. That step is what the official how-to-play calls the start of earning.

What the October 10 line changes

September walkthroughs said a sealed crate does not earn and that you should finish openings before you log off. The current description says crates grow while you are offline. Both statements can be about different builds. Before you leave a pile of sealed crates, look at the crate itself and at the collection stand. If a sealed crate is not growing or counting down, the older advice still fits your server.

What actually changes the result

  • Crate Roll Luck from LARP, and the Crate Roll Luck upgrade.
  • An Everything Potion only if RELEASE put that item in your inventory. September lists called the same code a Rainbow Potion.
  • 100x Hatch Speed was the reward on 100XHATCH. That code was moved to expired on an October 11 retest list. The permanent Hatch Time Speed upgrade is separate.
  • V.I.P. in the Gem Shop is reported to double Crate Roll Luck. Read the shop text before you buy it.

High-tier names used as Auto Spawn examples include Prismatic, Sacred, and Secret. Treat them as filter examples. COSMIC25, a free cosmic crate on older lists, is expired.

A practical stop

Redeem the active codes, turn on a luck potion only while you can place crates, open the crates you can afford, and collect the keepers. Opening one more crate after the potion ends is fine. Leaving a pad full of crates you cannot pay for is not.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you actually do in Dream Car Collection?

Spawn a lucky crate and buy it, place it and open it for a car, then add that car to the collection so it earns cash. The experience is a Roblox beta by F Students = Inventors. The October 10, 2026 description also says cars earn and crates grow while you are offline.

Does income continue after I leave?

The current description says cars earn and crates grow while you are offline. Older September walkthroughs said only collected cars earn and that sealed crates do not. Read the collection stand on your lot, because the October 10 wording changed the older advice.

Which codes are in the official description?

IMSORRY and LARP are printed in the current Roblox description. IMSORRY is 3,000 gems tied to drive-world bug fixes. LARP is a luck boost, and code lists say that boost is 3 Crate Roll Luck Potions. Other strings come from community lists and can expire.

Are crate odds published?

No. The description does not publish crate odds, pity, or a car stat sheet. A chance calculator on this site only works if you type a percentage you can read in your own client.

Is there a full car list with stats?

The description promises 50+ shiny cars and 5+ car edits, and it does not name them or give income stats. Judge a car by the money per second on your wall. Cars also have serials: the #1 Car Owner badge is for the first player to get a car's #1 serial.
